Community Book Club
Join us the second Monday of each month for Community Book Club from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. No need to read, come to comment or come to listen. Email contact@mvyouthtaskforce.org to register and get your book. We meet at the Island Wide Youth Collaborative in Vineyard Haven. Guiding Good Choices
Guiding Good Choices is a program for parents and caregivers to learn specific actions that promote healthy development and reduce risky behavior in the teen years. Facilitated by IWYC's School Liason, Leah Littlefield, and MV Youth Task Force Director, Angela Knapp. Pre-registration is needed, contact Leah at llittlefield@mvcommunityservices.org O programa Guiding Good Choices (Orientando Boas Escolhas) é voltado para pais e responsáveis, ensinando ações específicas que promovem o desenvolvimento saudável e reduzem comportamentos de risco na adolescência. É ministrado por Leah Littlefield, coordenadora de relações escolares da IWYC, e Angela Knapp, diretora da Força-Tarefa Juvenil de MV.
First Night Martha's Vineyard
Visit Vineyard Haven, MVYTF and QueerhubMV are proud to have brought this event together in less than 2 months. We are excited to revive this community event and look forward to future growth and expansion of First Night on Martha’s Vineyard. Thank you to Lauraye White for managing lighting, thank you to MV Family Resource Center for decorating and Vineyard Haven Library, MV Community Services, Connect to End Violence MV, Taylor Stone for your table activities, MV Playhouse for the space, Quitsa Kitchen and Dip 02539 for the food, and Joshua Keeney for the great music and dancing.
